The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the recruitment for various Group C Civilian posts under advertisement number 01/2024, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to serve in the defence sector. This recruitment drive aims to fill 182 vacancies for the positions of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Hindi Typist, and Driver. This is the national-level examination. Candidates must apply for this recruitment after activating the application window. Out of 182 posts, 157 vacancies are designed for the LDC and 18 for Hindi typists. In addition, 07 candidates will be selected for the driver posts.

IAF Group C Eligibility Criteria

Lower Division Clerk : Post-157, Intermediate pass, typing skill in English (35 WPM) 18-25 years.

Hindi Typist : Post-18, Class 12 pass, typing skill in Hindi (30 WPM) 18-25 years. 

Driver : Post -7, Matriculation pass, HMV or LMV Driving Licence, 2 years experience, 18-25 years.

The age-determining date is the last date of the application process, i.e. 1 September 2024. The age relaxation is also applicable according to government rules. OBC candidates are given a 03 year age relaxation, while those belonging to the SC/ST category receive a 5 year age relaxation.

Applicants must send a self-addressed envelope with a postal stamp of ₹10/- affixed to it along with their application form.

2. Select the Latest News Section: On the homepage, click on the latest news sections.
3. Download the Application Form: Locate the recruitment section and download the application form for Group C recruitment.
4. Fill out the Application Form: Fill in the required details accurately. Attach a recent passport-size photograph and self-attest the form.
5. Attach Necessary Documents: Include self-attested copies of educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents.
