SATHEE: Students can prepare for engineering, medical and other exams for free

I just found out about this awesome opportunity for students preparing for engineering, medical, and ICAR exams in India. The Ministry of Education is offering free preparation through the Saathi (SATHE) portal. They're providing resources for entrance exams as well as recruitment exams for SSC and banking positions. I think this is a fantastic chance for students to get some high-quality assistance without having to worry about the costs.

The Saathi portal has a great lineup of features including preparation by IIT Professors / Subject Experts, live classes, NCERT video solutions, an AI-based assessment platform, and recorded videos of professors. There are also exciting plans to add preparation resources for exams like CUET and Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in the near future.

APPLE plants yield 600,000 jobs in India by March !

 The Apple ecosystem in India is expected to generate around 600,000 jobs by the end of the fiscal year.       The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced a new framework that allows universities to conduct examinations for courses offered through the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) platform.

          This initiative aims to make earning academic credits through online platforms more accessible and flexible for students. Previously, the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) conducted end-term proctored examinations for SWAYAM courses.

New Enrollment process for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Programs

 

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced a new enrollment process for open and distance learning (ODL) and online programs for the upcoming academic year. Under the new plan, students enrolling in ODL and online programs will be required to first register on the UGC’s Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB) web portals – deb.ugc.ac.in using their Academic Bank of Credit (ABC)-ID and create a unique DEB-ID. This directive was stated by UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar.
